Thanks for stopping by! My name is Elaine Candeloro, and I am the owner and healthcare provider of Redbud Family Health.
After having my first child in 2003 and receiving such personalized and thorough care by a midwife, I knew that I was being called to do the same. I have been in the nursing field since 2006. I am a proud alumna of Jacksonville University, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in the Science of Nursing. After, I continued my education at Frontier Nursing University, the birthplace of nurse-midwifery in the United States and a leader in advanced practice nursing. I earned a master's degree in nurse-midwifery, followed by a doctorate in nursing practice, and finally a certificate as a family nurse practitioner. My education has prepared me to provide safe, evidence-based care for the entire family. My career has taken me overseas as a community health nurse, pregnancy educator, and lactation counselor. I have also worked as a pediatric, women's surgery, and labor and delivery nurse. Currently, I am part of clinical faculty at the University of Texas in Arlington and provide midwifery services at Inanna Birth & Women's Care in Denton, Texas.
I live with my husband Anthony, who is currently serving in the United States Navy, 7 children, 2 dogs, and 3 ducks. When I'm not meeting with patients or catching babies, I can be found at any number of kid sporting events or recitals, working in the garden, kayaking, or in the pilates studio.
Needless to say, I understand the dynamic needs of families! I am happy to offer clinic visits with flexible hours, and well as telemed and home visits.
